Private Sport Shop was created in 2011 in Montpellier, South of France, with one obsession : make sports gear available to the largest number of people at the lowest cost. 10 years later, Private Sport Shop is now the category leader in Europe for sports-dedicated flash sales, employing more than 200 passionate people, and delivering equipment in more than 100 sports disciplines to over 13M members in 20 countries.

Today, the company is now looking for a new Business Developer B2B for Germany to help grow the German and Austrian business and help bring more suppliers to the platform.

The job.

Build your own battle-plan / Analyse the German and Austrian markets 

  • Observe the German and Austrian markets via a competitive analysis of brands, distributors and retailers 

  • Identify potential suppliers 

  • Update the CRM tool and liaise with French-based team of Category Managers to create opportunities with key accounts managed at international level

Go on the battle-field / Generate performance

  • Build a strong network and trustworthy relationships with German and Austrian suppliers, both online (telephone, email) and offline (trade fairs) /

  • Convince suppliers to be distributed on Private Sport Shop 

  • Negotiate sourcing conditions with suppliers with the support of the purchasing team based in France

Report to HQ / Manage sales activity

  • Manage independently a portfolio of sports brands and your own seasonal sales planning

  • Follow up sales activities internally and with suppliers, from quotation to after sales service

  • Report to David, Country Manager for Germany and Austria

Location.

The company is based in Montpellier with 100% home office. Being based in Germany is however a huge plus to manage meetings and presence at fairs and various other occasions.

 Date of arrival.

Arrival as soon as possible in order to be fully operational for Q4 (decisive period for Private Sport Shop).
