Our client

No need to introduce adidas, the global sportswear brand where Florent works. First for several years at headquarters in Herzogenaurach in commercial roles, then more recently as Brand Director France.

It was following this move that Florent decided to call on our services.

Asserting himself in front of a strong-willed team

No small challenge awaited Florent in this new role, as he was taking over the leadership of a team of at least 50 people.

An already well-functioning, large team made up of strong personalities. Well-established leadership among his direct reports, but above all among his peers on the Senior Leadership Team, forced him to a realisation. His posture needed to change to succeed in this new role. His goal? To assert himself, in his own way, to be stronger in his decisions in front of his team, and to stop confusing kindness with performance.

The BOOST solution

Our client's challenge is exactly what BOOST Executive Coaching is designed to address. With 8 to 10 sessions, spaced out enough to let things sink in, and plenty of informal exchanges to keep the coaching alive throughout, the programme delivered by our coach allowed him to make all the posture changes needed to feel comfortable in his role.

Addressing specific needs

Many topics were addressed and worked on: his leadership style, his role models, his counter-models, his reactions to adversity, how to stay kind while being more assertive, how to be more "multi-modal" to adapt to all types of personalities...

They also worked on his management approach, his key attitudes, his personality and how it shows up in his social interactions.

To complete the approach, and to reinforce his role as a leader, they also reviewed his personal organisation together.

Time for results!

The result is simple but effective:

- a clear agenda focused mainly on his priorities,

- management that remains kind but is much more assertive,

- leadership capable of taking many forms, adapted to the person or group in front of him.

A leadership role more fully owned!
