Salomon's France Lead Team is in charge of all of Salomon's French business. It has the particularity of being at the heart of complex, matrixed systems, both internal and external, which create communication challenges and, consequently, performance challenges.

Getting to know each other better to perform better

In a highly complex system, how can the team manage to simplify its relationships to gain in performance and efficiency? Team members needed to get to know each other better, both individually and collectively, in order to understand their differences, collaborate better, and bring more simplicity to their daily interactions.

The BOOST solution

To address these challenges, we organised a one-day seminar in Annecy, by the lake. A morning dedicated to discovering each person's preferred mode using the MBTI tool and presenting the different profiles, followed by an afternoon marked by raft-building, to put into practice the communication styles discussed that morning. Two highly complementary half-days that allowed participants to get to know each other better and understand other members' preferred modes, in order to communicate better and take care of their relationships with one another. A moment of stepping back and building team cohesion!

Addressing specific needs

Thanks to this day, we addressed the main challenge of self-knowledge and knowledge of others. MBTI is a very powerful tool for presenting personality types in a structured way. It is also easy for participants to pick up. So it's ideal for addressing the challenge of getting to know each other better.

The workshop was really interesting; it helped me get to know myself better and better understand my colleagues' behaviours. Despite the everyday challenges, we are a close-knit team, led with kindness by Philippe, and that's what makes us strong.

Time for results!

A great experience, with a genuine shared moment lived together, and a real awareness of the team they form and the diversity of profiles within it!
