Profil  

👉 Min 10 years of professional experience in Sports Marketing & influence in the running industry.

👉 Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary marketing teams (7/8 direct reports).

👉 Comfortable operating in a complex matrix environment with multiple internal stakeholders (Product Marketing, Design, CMI, Brand team, regional Marketing Directors & local Marketing Managers) and external partners (Photographer & videographer, event organizers, medical & performance staff).  

Aptitudes

👉 Proficient in digital tools and AI for scouting.

👉 Strategic thinker with a strong track record in developing and implementing complex marketing strategies.

👉 Strong interpersonal skills for project lead, information request/transfer, brief/explanation, and support.

Missions

1 - Build & Execute a Strategic, Consumer-Centric Sport & Community Marketing Plan

  • Drive the Sport & Community marketing strategy, from definition to implementation.
  • Define and update short/mid/long term strategy according to sport vision, local feedback, market evolution and competitors' actions.
  • Define yearly program & corresponding activation guidelines.
  • Define budget guidance (HQ/local). ● Lead the athletes' program and the influencers' program , from management to creating activations.
  • Craft the future and ensure smooth organization of the Golden Trail World Series.
  • Lead strategy, guidelines and execution of dedicated global sports events (ex: UTMB, MaxiRace, Ultra Spirit, etc.).

2.  Lead & Inspire a High-Performing Marketing Team

  • Lead a team of 7/8 direct reports, including team managers and the sports events specialist, with overall responsibility for the broader team.
  • Foster the conditions for individual and collective success through clear direction, active support, and empowerment.
  • Drive a culture of team excellence by animating collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and embed a winning spirit and a culture of high performance, aligned with company values and ambitions.
  • Lead external partners.
  • Collaborate with local marketing teams.

3. Strengthen Brand Equity & Local Relevance

  • Manage the international athletes' team and develop a new Performance program to professionalize the team.
  • Manage a scouting program, leveraging digital and AI as well as on-field scouting.
  • Define guidelines for local influence recruitment & activation.
  • Review the Golden Trail World Series visual identity & Salomon integration
